Protecting your most valuable travel gadgets can be as important as remembering to bring them with you. Road Warriors depend on our favorite gadgets to keep us up to speed with business and connected to people. Travel and heavy use can cause damage to delicate pieces of technology, such as your laptop or smart phone, which is avoidable. Carrying cases could save you the hassle and expense of having to replace your faithful gadgets while on the road or at home.
Choosing the right carrying case for all your most used technologies can extend their lifespan and keep you organized. Ideally, a carrying case should be made out of a durable material to protect your valuables and fit snuggly. Try the LeSportsac sleeve for your laptop made out of durable material and has many style options. Or, the Skooba Skin laptop enelope has a unique closure that also doubles as convenient handles. For those of you in the cult of Mac, the FlipSR leather case provides easy access to your iPhone, or for more flip-open fun try the PodFolio for your video iPod. You can also find some dual-purpose carrying cases like the leather Zip Folio for your iPod Nano which is also a wallet. Carrying cases come in all shapes and sizes, so there is a wide array of choices to fit you perfectly.
Travel Document Holders

Organizing and protecting your travel documents before taking them on the road can make for a smoother and less stressful trip. Because of the stricter passport regulations, like for travel to Canada, Road Warriors seem to be carrying more documentation with them on their travels. The more documents, the more to remember and worry about, so keeping them organized in a document holder can take some of that weight off your shoulders.
Travel can cause wear and tear on things like your passport and those delicate airline tickets. Document holders can help you keep track of your important papers while protecting them from tears or spills. Choosing the right document holder for you depends on your needs. For a multi-purpose passport wallet with many useful pockets try the Frontier Collection by Lewis N. Clark or take a look at the ALL-ETT Billfold with a thin design. Or simply keep your passport out of harm's way in style with the leather Milano Passport Cover. These are all great options for the road warrior on the go. If you like a more pastel pallet, the Abas Travel Organizer is both efficient and attractive, with tabs marked for all your different documents. There are even fun passport holders for kids, which can make the long wait at the airport just a little more enjoyable.
Whatever your travel plans, there are travel document carriers that will fit your style and needs. Be sure to tuck your travel documents away safely where you can easily find them and show them to officials, hopefully making for an easier trip.

The travel photos you take on your trips can be some of your most precious, and if you are snap-happy, they can also become quite numerous. Whether your camera is digital or uses film, trying to organize your many photos can be a difficult task and can take up a lot of memory and physical storage space. Putting your pictures online is easy and allows for photo sharing, tagging, creating albums, and simple storage. Not only can it solve your organization woes but it can also save you a trip to the photo lab.
Uploading your pictures online can work with film or digital photos. If your camera takes film, you can simply take it to most pharmacies and get it turned into a CD, good for compact storage and easy uploading to the Internet. Photos from digital cameras can be downloaded directly to your computer. Try a free online photo service like Kodak EasyShare Gallery or Snapfish to upload your photos, send them to loved ones, and even develop or turn them into mugs, T-shirts, and bound albums. For a more social online photo experience, Flickr offers sharing, tagging, photo mapping so you can see other people's pictures from nearby sites, and lets you turn your photos into stamps, calendars, and more.
Depending on the lab you use, these sites can offer cheaper developing and can relieve even heavy storage burdens. By allowing you to move and edit pictures, organizing and keeping track your travels with these sites becomes streamlined.

Being a Road Warrior doesn't always mean literally hitting the road, but it's high time the road trip had the spotlight. Road trips are a great way to get around delayed flights and congested airports. There are no timetables or rules about when and where you can make a pit stop to see the sites. There are some great ways to make road trips fun and interesting with GPS, whether your traveling for business or pleasure.
GPS is increasingly more common and accessible, so you may already have it in your own car. If not, it may be worth looking into, as it is very useful to keep you on target during your trip. If you’re renting a car, never fear, as it’s readily available from many of the major rental companies, including Avis, Budget, and Dollar. Whether purchasing it for your car or paying a little extra to have it in your rental car, it’s a small investment with a big reward if you can get through an entire trip without having to ask for directions.
The GPS system can not only be used to get from point A to point B, but can help you navigate to any attraction along the say. To make the most out of your road trip, find attractions online beforehand and program them into the system. One place to find great tips and resources for road trips and especially for family travel is the Travel Toolbox on WeJustGotBack.com. They feature ways to plan your route, keep the kids entertained, and save some money while on the road. For interesting attractions that may be off the beaten path go to Waymarking where you can find cool sites to enter into your GPS, or even use your GPS to mark places for others to discover.
Using your GPS on a road trip can make finding cool places to go an easy and fun adventure.
