Eating Healthy While Traveling
May 6, 2005 | Permalink
One of the issues with traveling all the time is that it seems almost impossible to stick to any sort of diet while on the road. Eating out almost every night plays havoc on a healthy eating regimen but the poor choices are always so quick and easy and after a long day, and they’re so tempting. One thing I’ve started to do is choose hotels that have kitchen facilities actually in the room. Even though it takes a little extra time to cook for myself, it’s much healthier and I can control the portions. Not everyone likes leftovers, but at least I know that I’m getting something nutritious to eat while I'm away.

Also, you can save money when eating out by ALWAYS ordering water. Ever notice how they charge a wonderful $1.50 for a soda?
